Rene has been talking about how cold it is at the moment. Apparently it was 20 below (fahrenheit) last night at his place. Very chilly.
It’s a little warmer here in Perth, Western Australia.
My thermometer says that it’s 46.5 celsius just outside our front door. That’s 115.7 fahrenheit. Thankfully we have air conditioning and it’s a bit cooler inside.
Our thermometer is probably a little on the warm side, catching some radiated heat off our house bricks. The official Perth temperature at the moment according to the Weather Bureau is a mere 40.2 celsius. (104.4 fahrenheit)
I’ll let the sun warm up our pool a bit and then head outside later when the sun isn’t quite so severe and have a dip.
Luxury. We down here *dream* of having 40.2. 40.9 where we are – FORTY POINT NINE. You have no idea how propitious are your circumstances.
Dave, you really need to bring the family over to share the pool sometime.
