I thought it was OK.

I was going through some photos and found this one.

It is a blanket label from a blanket I slept under in India one night.

It said the blanket was shoddy but I reckon it did its job.

Was I missing something in the translation?

When I looked up shoddy in an online dictionary it said:

shod.dy
adj. shod.di.er, shod.di.est

Made of or containing inferior material.
a. Of poor quality or craft. b. Rundown; shabby.
Dishonest or reprehensible: shoddy business practices.
Conspicuously and cheaply imitative.

But immediately below it it said:

shod.dies

a. Woolen yarn made from scraps or used clothing, with some new wool added.
b. Cloth made from or containing such yarn.

Something of inferior quality; a cheap imitation.

I guess the Zeenat factory got their words mixed up.
