I just read this article which tells me that whoever gains power in the October Federal Election will have a handy bonus.
BUDGET surpluses during the next four years will soar to $25.2 billion, more than double the $11.9 billion forecast when the federal budget was delivered in May.
Personally, I wouldn’t mind an extra $25.2 billion dollars over the next four years. We’d like to add a garage or even a carport and fix our driveway.
Then there are the school fees and it’d be nice to be able to pay off the house and car.
To tell the truth, I probably wouldn’t even need the full $25.2 billion, so I’m happy to share some with you. Maybe you could vote for me and we’ll work out some kind of deal.
