I see that the Australian Securities and Investments Commission wants to give away 300 million dollars. It’s all unclaimed money and they’re trying to find its rightful owners.
They say that almost half a million Australians have funds locked up in old bank accounts, forgotten insurance policies or shares they didn’t know they owned. They’ve set up a website where you can look to see if any of the money is yours.
It’d be wonderful to find out that you have a stash of money sitting around waiting for you to claim. Unfortunately I don’t have any problem remembering what money I have. My problem is more like spending money that I forgot that I don’t have.

Oohooo what a wonderful tool. I know I have a few super accounts floating around that need to be colated.
I have to mention they probably only have about 100 dollars in them though LOL.
