4GB of my favourite music in one tiny package. Mmm.
A birthday gift from some very generous people.

He told me he would, “flash it up” to see if there was any charge in the battery. He then proceeded to press the power button.
Flash it up? In my day we used to call that turning or switching it on.
I think I’m pretty good at keeping up with new technology. It’s keeping up with the latest buzz words that gives me trouble.

Steve took this photo at an airport and now he wants it to be spread across the world.
He wants you to send it to all your friends. He made a bet with someone that it’ll be spread around the world within a month.
He says, I have a bet with a Romanian man that I met in the airport shortly after I took this photo. He found me curled up in fetal position in tears of laughter, camera in hand. I showed him the picture and bet him he would receive it in an email within a month. I ask all of you to copy this photo and send it out into the wonderful worldwide web… Pass it to friends and family… I wish to share it with the world!
If you want to read the full story you can find Steve’s post about the incident here.
I’m sure that he intends no disrespect to the nuns involved, it’s just such an interesting photo.
So, are you going to help Steve in his quest for world email domination?

If you enjoyed this post please use the buttons above to share. We seem to be getting on better every day – but we’re still not speaking to each other.
Every day as I pedal to work I see some familiar faces. I nod at some, say good morning to those close enough to the road to hear me and even give an occasional wave. This is all with people I’ve never met.
One of the most regular faces I see is the guy who takes his two dogs to the nearby park to give them a run. He also takes his tennis racket to slog a few balls across the park for them to chase. Over the past few weeks the good morning waves and nods we’ve exchanged have become more and more animated.
I think that ‘dog man’ thought that ‘bike man’ wasn’t going to see him as he was walking to the park this morning so he raised his racket high in the air to capture my attention. We’ve moved from the very subtle nod, through the wave and right onto the racket wave.
One of these days I reckon I’m going to have to stop and chat for a while. Maybe he’ll even let me throw the ball for the dogs.

You must listen to Lauren. (I hope she forgives me for stealing her photo from her blog.)
This lady needs to be signed to a recording contract – now. She has a great voice.
Just click here to watch an amateur video of her singing the song Sister by Sarah Bettens. Lauren tells us on her blog that this is only the third time she’s ever sung this song. Amazing.
Working in radio, I get to hear a lot of untalented people who are convinced that the world needs to hear them and their music. A lot of the CDs that get sent to a radio station are made by people who have stars in their eyes but only a small amount of talent. I’d trade them all to hear Lauren record a CD.
Leave me a comment to let me know what you think. And make sure you drop in to Lauren’s blog to say hi as well.
