Australia’s population is just over 20 million.
Imagine if every man woman and child in our great country was suffering the effects of one natural disaster. Imagine if our entire country was thrown into chaos from one single event.
Now imagine the situation in Mumbai, India, where they estimate that 20 million people are suffering due to the recent torrential rains. The death toll is set to rise above 1000 but the devastation carries through to millions upon millions of others.
We need to remember that the rain hasn’t stopped yet and a lot more is forecast in the coming days.
