Ouch!

I didn’t say anything that I shouldn’t have said.

I just stood there, hunched over, breathing deeply.

Eventually I was able to stand up and carry on.

I was bending over, looking through our CD collection last night. I found what I needed and stood up. That’s when my head made fairly heavy contact with the right hand stereo speaker which we have mounted on the wall.

It’s a fairly robust piece of equipment so I don’t think it felt the impact but my head certainly did.

It didn’t break the skin but it’s still quite sore today. I’m wondering if it might be safer for me to start wearing my bicycle helmet inside the house.

  • We cavers have a tendency to remove our helmets a little prematurely sometimes. It’s a wonder we aren’t all brain damaged. “Helmet check!”

  • Ouch! Are you like me who tend to do everything in a hurry, my husband keep saying “slow down”, because I keep ‘injuring’ myself. Like the one time I unwind my vacuum cleaner’s pipe to quick from it and I hit myself on the forehead with the metal bit just before I put the head on, I had a small cut that bleed alot and a nice bruise to show of, I felt like the egg.

  • Hey Rocket! They say, “no sense, no feeling!” But we’ve always known you had good sense 🙂

  • That did make me laugh Rodney. I know how hard your head is…. so I can just guess what sort of a thump you gave that speaker! Seeya soon.
