I proved to everyone in the office last year that I’m hopeless at footy tipping. This year I intend to prove it to the world.
If you follow AFL can I encourage you to try to beat me at tipping for the coming season?
I’ve just signed up at footytips.com.au and so I’ll be able to pit my skills against thousands of other footy fans. The best part is that you can try your skills against mine by signing up to The Journey Footy Tipping Competition. Just follow the link and join up. I promise that by the time the season ends I’ll have come up with a reasonable prize for the best tipster.
Some people spend ages checking the form of each side and thinking through the match ups, the ground, the ladder and a whole range of variables before tipping. I tend to just go ahead and choose then hope for the best.
Go on. Join up. It’ll be fun.
The great thing with footytips.com.au is that you can be part of more than one competition at a time. I was alerted to the possibilities by Geoff so I’ve joined his competition too.

Hey Rodney – yeah I really enjoyed the movie. My kids loved it too. I can usually tell how much by how long it takes them to ask if we can buy it when it comes out. They asked in the closing credits!

I don’t like footy at all and the attitude of the players are to blame. I refuse to support them or make a fuss over them. Too many rude attitudes from them, according to me. I have yet to meet a footy player to win my respect!
