Perth Royal Show

It all gets underway this Saturday.

The Perth Royal Show happens at the Claremont Showgrounds from Saturday the 29th of September until Saturday the 6th of October. 98.5 Sonshine FM will broadcast live from the show each day.

We had booked a family holiday at the time of last year’s show so I didn’t get the opportunity to be part of the fun but I’m really looking forward to presenting my morning programme from the show each day of next week. I’ll have a range of interesting guests and will probably get involved in some interesting situations. I may even end up broadcasting from the bumper cars, from the top of the ferris wheel or some other sideshow ride.

If you’re thinking of heading to the show this year, make sure you drop in to say hello. We’ll be just up the hill from Sideshow Alley, across the road from the Cat Pavillion. Click on our Perth Royal Show map to see where to find us.

  • That sounds like a lot of fun! We are thinking about coming to Perth next year around this time (December was really veeery hot…) and maybe we can see the show then and say hello as well 🙂

These are still unlaid eggs so far!

  • I’ve been there 2 or 3 times only in all the time I live in Perth, don’t know yet if we will be going, apart from you who is there because you work there, we seem to cringe at the way some people can waste money.
(have to say the last 2 times we got in for free via the WA Police ’cause hubby did patrols there and was allowed to have family in for free via the police station).

It does have a nice feel to it being here, but just a bit too crowded sometimes … am I showing my age now?
