Thumbs Up! Edition Eight

Not too many posts this week. We’ll have to see if we can get a few more for the next edition. You can post something today, let me know and it’ll be part of next week’s Thumbs Up!

If this is the first you’ve heard of Thumbs Up! and you’re scratching your head wondering what it’s about you can read the details here.

Deano has been posting a Thumbs Up! again, presenting Prayerful Leading at his blog My Jarrol Spot. The post highlights a guy called Ian and the particular way that he leads others in prayer. I think a lot of people could learn from his style

I don’t think I’ve left anyone out but if you did post a submission this week and you can’t see it here, please email me so that I can add your post. If you missed out on being a part of Thumbs Up! this week, get posting now and submit for next week.

My busy week begins

The Perth Royal Show started at the Claremont Showgrounds on Saturday and runs until this coming Saturday, the 6th of October.

We had a family day at the show on Saturday but it’s all work from here on in. I’ll be broadcasting my 98.5 Sonshine FM radio programme live from the show each day.

I’ll have a range of interesting guests and will probably get involved in some interesting situations. I may even end up broadcasting from the bumper cars, from the top of the ferris wheel or some other sideshow ride.

I’ll try to get some good photos for you.

If you’re heading to the show, make sure you drop in to say hello. We’re be just up the hill from Sideshow Alley, across the road from the Cat Pavillion. Click on our Perth Royal Show map to see where to find us.
