This video at YouTube shows Naturally 7 performing in a Paris subway and it has been watched almost two million times.
If you’ve never heard of Naturally 7 you owe it to yourself to watch it all the way through.
If you think that performance is good, imagine having the guys giving you a private performance. That’s the privilege I had during my morning programme on 98.5 Sonshine FM yesterday. Naturally 7 dropped in for an interview and performed a couple of songs including Feel It [In the Air Tonight], the song performed in the video. OK, so there were thousands of people listening on the radio too but at the time it was just me, them and their sound guy in the studio. It was powerful.
They’re in Perth supporting Michael Buble for his four Perth concerts.
The guys perform what they call ‘vocal play’ which is all about performing only with the human voice as their instruments. At times it’s hard to believe that there are no drums, guitars or keyboards backing them up.
