Resuming normal programming

Looks like things are almost back to normal.

I mentioned a couple of days ago that I’d lost a folder of images. They’re now back.

Restoring the images meant restoring the blog from a backup. My blog host did some great work to make it happen but it meant that I lost my last few blog posts.

The missing posts were still available on my RSS feed so I re-published them. This may mean that people getting email updates or reading the blog via RSS will see duplicates of about three or four posts.

Unfortunately, any comments made on the blog in the last few days have disappeared. I’ll see if I can restore some through my CoComment account but losing the comments may just be the price I pay for getting the blog restored.

Sorry if you’ve left comments that are now missing. I do value your comments and didn’t certainly delete them intentionally.
