		<description>The Bible encourages us to meditation.  Prayer is when we talk to God, but meditation is creating an environment for God to speak to us.  Medititation is a tool for quieting our minds and becoming still. Christian meditation adds an additional bonus of building greater intimacy with God.

		<description>That&#039;s a really interesting post. I&#039;ve never really heard of meditation seeming bad within Christianity. I&#039;ve always seen or heard individuals, even of that religious persuasion, advocating meditation for the reasons you described. Hmm, I&#039;ll have to look into that more.
