More often than I care to admit I open up YouTube and watch Paul Anka doing his big band version of Nirvana’s song Smells Like Teen Spirit. I thought you might like to see it too.

It has long been a contention of mine that just because a band dresses scruffily…or weirdly…that does not mean they are not incredibly talented.
Queen, Cold Chisel, Nirvanna…
Now while some may consider this version sacrilege (and I would probably lean that way!) it does show that Nirvanna knew how to write a good song (good at least in a musical sense)
That was hilarious!
If I didn’t know what it was, it would have taken me a minute. Although I think I would have figured it out when he said, “…a milato, an albino…”
(I just realized I don’t know how to spell milato.)
Definitely sacrilegious for Nirvana fans, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Very entertaining.
Thanks Rodney. I was a Paul Anka fan back about… maybe 50 years ago! Still enjoy him.
Great find Rodney!
