I do believe in GOD. And he is a God of purposes. He doesn't plan as humans do. As a creator of this beautiful earth and universe, he will accomplish what he purposed for the earth. He will turn this earth into a paradise. He will put back the thousands of insects that man has distroyied. He will be able to clean the earth of polution, contamination and greed. And the earth will be fill with perfect humans in every way, espiritualy, morally, mentaly, emotionaly, and phisycally. He can heal the human cells, with no problem at all. And He will resurrect, and bring back to life Charles Darwin. And Mr. Darwin, will have to recognize that Jehova is the Creator, and Jehova will give him the opportunity, to live forever in a cleanse earth, it will be up to Mr. Darwin to recognize Jehovah' sovereingty, and abide by his principles and laws. And maybe Jehovah will help him to understand how he went in creating everything. But again, Mr Darwin has to show Humility, because the meek or the humble will inheret the earth.

I believe in a Creator, though I am unwilling to say with certainty that I can define how He created the universe.

"The research doesn't show that those who believe in God necessarily believe that he created the world in which we live."

Not sure that sentence is logically correct. I don't think the fact that these scientists surveyed overwhelmingly accept the validity of evolution means they don't believe in a Creator God - it just implies they possibly accept evolution as the means by which creation occurred.

There's still this pervasive and damaging false dichotomy between believing in a Creator God and believing in evolution - the two don't need to be mutually exclusive, and there are many serious scientists (and many committed Christians) who believe both.
