Isn’t technology wonderful?

I choose a CD to listen to … I put it into the CD drive … Windows Media Player opens.

Next thing I notice is that Windows Media Player has worked out exactly what the CD is, has a small picture of the CD cover and a list of the tracks. Brilliant.

The amazing thing is it also has a link I can click on to buy a copy of the CD. What the?

I’m sorry but I already have that CD. If I didn’t have it Windows Media Player couldn’t have located all the details and offered to sell it to me.
