Chug Chug Chug …. Toot Toot

Have you ever been to Castledare Miniature Railway? It’s a 7 1/4 inch guage passenger carrying miniature railway set in natural wetlands in the Perth suburb of Wilson.

I’ve been a few times. Pauline’s dad loves the whole deal of the little steam locomotives and so we celebrated Fathers Day there yesterday afternoon. The weather held off which meant that we were able to have a picnic and a couple of train rides.

Emily and James had a wonderful time as expected. We all stood in line for what seemed like forever. We let lots of people go past us and get on ahead of us. We were waiting for one special train. We wanted to take a ride on the little green engine named Emily.

It was certainly a full day. James fell asleep in the car on the way home. I bundled him out of the car into his bed and we didn’t hear from him until this morning.
