I'm Dry

The rain has fallen just as it should over the last couple of days.

A few minutes after I got home yesterday it bucketed down.

When I got up this morning it was pouring outside. By the time I had to jump on my bike it was blue skies and beautiful conditions. Not long after I arrived the skies clouded over, everything became dark and the rain started pelting down yet again.

So both my ride home last night and my ride to work this morning left me dry. But in the meantime we’ve had over 10mm of much needed rain with more falling right now.

The forecast is for the rain to stop this afternoon ……. before I ride home.

Works for me.

  • I’m glad you managed to stay dry.
I find school pick up and drop off times to be a great predictor of weather.
If it’s going to rain on a given day, it will at around 9am and then again at 3pm. Hence I always carry a bootful of umbrella’s!

  • would riding in the rain prevent your local magpie from launching an assult on you? maybe next time you do get caught in the wet, ride past his nest and say hi….
