Happy Birthday James

It was birthday number 6 for our son James on Saturday.

He had a wonderful time with a Pirate Party for his pre-school friends and a few others. He looked wonderful dressed as a pirate and he did very well welcoming all his guests as they arrived and then farewelling them politely at the end of the party.

His friends gave him some lovely gifts and he certainly showed the correct level of excitement as he opened each parcel. We had discussed appropriate birthday behaviour before the party and he was wonderful. We’ve seen too many embarrased parents in the past whose children have snatched gifts from the arriving guests or asked, “Where’s my present” as soon as a new face appeared at their party.

We are very proud of our 6 year old.
