Just Bragging

I mentioned yesterday that both Emily and James received great school reports earlier this week. The news just gets better.

Yesterday afternoon the school conducted its final assembly for the year and gave out several awards for each year group of students.

James officially graduated to year one and Emily received the Achievement Award for her Year Three class. The Achievement Award is the top award for academic achievement in her class. This is her third Achievement Award in a row following being awarded in Years One and Two.

The wording of her award says, For working beautifully throughout the year. Emily’s fantastic work habits, concentration & dedication have resulted in her outstanding levels of achievement. Thank you Emily for being such a helpful & positive influence on those around you.

I asked her permission to let you know just how clever she is. She was happy for me to do so.

As you can imagine, to say that the whole family is exceptionally proud is an understatement. I’m fit to burst.

  • You certainly have a great deal to be proud of Rodney! The added benefit of having such brilliant children is that they may, in the not to distant future, be able to keep their parents in the lifestyle to which they would like to become accustomed.
