Love, Liberty, Disco

I get the privilege of being involved in a number of interesting events as part of my job as a radio announcer. Things really start to get a little busy at this time of the year. I will be the MC for at least 2 Carols by Candlelight events and be involved with at least one one other.

On top of that there are end of year functions such as last night’s disco. It was actually a disco for our children’s school so I would have been there anyway but I was asked to DJ for the night.

It was a lot of fun trying to keep a rowdy bunch of children, aged from just a few years up to about 12, dancing and enjoying their evening.

The range of music was interesting with everything from Colin Buchanan, Bob the Builder and Hi-5 through to Queen and Joel Turner.

It was good to see a lot of the parents joining their kids on the dance floor too.
