Do you ever wonder if just wishing for something can make it happen?
I’m starting to think that it can. In fact the proof is pretty solid. Though I must say that it’s not working to our advantage at the moment.
All over the world parents are wishing for more time between now and Christmas. There is so much to do and we need a few extra days to get everything done.
At the same time, millions of children around the globe are wishing that Christmas would just hurry up and get here NOW.
Both wishes are being fulfilled but unfortunately the wrong way round.
The kids feel as if they’re getting the parents’ wish because Christmas still seems as if it’s forever away. As for the rest of us, we’re getting the kids wish. Time seems to have slipped into hyperdrive and no matter what we do, it seems that Christmas will arrive in just the blink of an eye.
