Australia Mourns

Prime Minister John Howard has called for this Sunday to be observed as a National Day of Mourning for the victims of the recent tsunami.

As part of that day, a Remembrance Service is being held this Sunday morning at Altone Park Leisure Centre in Beechboro.

The service will give opportunity to mourn for the victims of the tsunami as well as opportunity to celebrate life and the amazing generosity shown by so many Australians since the disaster.
The service will run from 10:00 to 11:30am at Altone Park Leisure Centre, Benara Road, Beechboro and is being organised by Beechboro Baptist Church.

If you’re in the Perth area you may wish to join us to reflect on the events of the past weeks.
