Averting Disaster

I helped avert a terrible disaster yesterday.

I was wandering down the road yesterday afternoon when I suddenly noticed a reasonably strong smell of gas. I started imaging a huge has leak and an even bigger explosion if I didnt do something to alert everyone quickly.

Half a second after smelling the gas I heard a gushing sound. The leak was bigger than I first thought. I had to swing into action.

First thing to do was look around to see if I could identify where the leak might be coming from. I looked behind me and found the problem right away.

The gas smell and the gushing sound were coming from the guy filling his barbecue gas bottle at the Kleenheat Gas store I’d just walked past.

  • Yes, sounds like a job for Mr Prune!! 😉
Sorry Rodney, you really got me going (ha, another veiled reference!) with your Mr Prune post a little while ago. The possibilities are endless. . . . . I really should get over it and move on.
