Do you use an aggregator to read blogs? I tried a couple of times but wasn’t thrilled with the result. It meant that I ahd to have an aggregator installed on any computer I used.
I’m now using Bloglines. It’s a free online aggregator that keeps track of the blogs I want to read. I just log in from any computer and it tells me if those on my blogroll have posted since the last time I checked. Great idea.
Of course if you’re already using Bloglines you’ll know how good it is not having to open up a few dozen webpages just to find that no one has posted since your last visit.
Strange thing is that I tried putting the-journey.tk into the subscribe box and it told me that there wasn’t a feed available. If you’ve struck the same thing with this blog you can click on the button below to subscribe. Mind you, even if you’re reading The Journey through bloglines, I still expect you to drop in to leave comments.
If you haven’t already, give Bloglines a try.

Ah-ha! You struck my problem. Glad I wasn’t the only one who couldn’t get it to find your feed :).
I use SauceReader (www.synop.com) as my RSS reader, which I really like. I tried Bloglines, but prefer using a rich client on my PC.
As for your RSS feed, I get it through Perth Blogs. I can read it in my aggregator, but if I try to click through to view your actual site, it fails. Something is going wrong in the transition through Perth Blogs. Other sites work, but most blogger.com sites don’t.
Rodney,
I’m geting your posts through bloglines by subscribing to this feed:
http://arach.net.au/~rpej.olsen/atom.xml
No problems here…
Excellent Rick. The strange thing is that I have two feeds, the one you mention and the feedburner one, and neither shows up when I ask Bloglines to find them.
It probably has something to do with the fact that the-journey.tk simply forwards to the ‘real’ blog URL which is http://arach.net.au/~rpej.olsen/blog.html
