Please feed me

Marriane from The Not So Secret Diary of Me left me a comment in my last post saying:

Hey Rodney, I’m replying to the comment you left in my blog here. (I figured you’re more likely to see it here.) So was it you who posted about Bloglines sometime ago?

I know someone did but I couldn’t find the post.

Yes, it’s a great idea. But I can’t seem to subscribe to yours via Blogline! Is it just me?

No Marriane, I don’t think it’s just you. I have found the problem myself. For some reason bloglines can’t seem to find the feed automatically. You can just click on the button below. (Which is also in my left hand sidebar.)

Subscribe with Bloglines

If you’re a person who knows what to look for in my template, please have a look and let me know why neither of my two feeds, here and here don’t show up automatically. I must admit that I’m a bit of a hack when it comes to design. I built the look of my template through trial and error but I guess this one is one of the errors.

UPDATE: I think I’ve found the secret. My URL, the-journey.tk, redirects to the real URL which is www.arach.net.au/~rpej.olsen/blog.html. (Now you know why I chose a simpler .tk URL redirection.) If I use the real URL, bloglines can find both feeds (and even an old Blogmatrix scrape) without problems. It seems the real problem is that I need to find the dollars to buy my own domain and dump the .tk redirection.

In the mean time, please be assured that I have feeds available to be read in whatever way you prefer. Let me know if you have any problems.
