Mini holiday

As I mentioned earlier, we had a family holiday this weekend. I won a two night stay at The Vines Resort some time ago and we finally got to make use of it on Friday and Saturday night.

I hate golf with a passion but I didn’t mind looking out across the course from our room. It’s a beautifully kept and landscaped course and those playing the course seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Our neighbours at the resort were dozens of kangaroos. (See previous post.)

We spent some time in the pool and spa as well as a little site seeing in the Swan Valley.

A full buffet breakfast was included in the prize for both mornings so we took great advantage of that. It was certainly one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever sampled.

The staff were friendly and helpful and we got a fair bit of time to relax as a family. It was only a couple of days but it was absolutely marvelous.
