Lights, camera, action ….

It was the big school concert last night. Both Emily and James did a great job in their particular items.

As well as taking part in her class item, Emily was part of the choir so she was on stage a few times throughout the evening. She absolutely shines in front of an audience.

James put on a shirt, tie and moustache to become Craig Cheesey, a newsreader, for his class item. he looked and acted the part.

All the classes did a great job and I know that the teachers put in a huge effort over the past weeks to have every running as smoothly as possible. It certainly paid off with a quality evening based on an Australian theme.

We heard some great Aussie music including a mimed version of the Bee Gees song Spicks and Specks which threatened to steal the show. It was truly wonderful seeing all the kids from the school having an absolute blast as they performed.

I only wish I had opportunities like that when I was their age.
