When mice attack

Did you hear about the recent international incident involving a mouse?

Police in New South Wales, Australia, alerted police in Wellington, New Zealand, after a Sydney woman feared for her mother’s safety.

The mother was talking on the phone to her daughter when she saw a mouse. It flashed past her very near her slippers. She got such a fright she screamed, dropped the phone and ran straight out of the house to her son’s place around the corner – forgetting to phone her daughter back.

Fearing someone had broken into her mum’s house and attacked her, the daughter called Sydney police, who contacted their Wellington counterparts. They rushed to the lady’s home to find her safe and well, but very embarrassed by all the attention.

Good to know that it all ended happily ever after but I get the feeling that the son who lives just around the corner will be busy setting mousetraps for a while.
