These are not the circumstances under which I would prefer to see bicycles increase their popularity but it’s interesting to see the rise in bike sales following the terrorist bombings in London.

I’m thinking it’s more of a knee-jerk reaction than anything else. Once public transport returns to normal and operates without incident for a few weeks, I suspect most of those who “abandoned” it will go back to it.
I’m planning to start riding to work soon. Not because of terrorism though
