…. our daughter, Emily, was in London.
A year later and London is the scene for the latest cowardly attack by terrorists.
This sick and evil act must not be used as a catalyst for fear or hate. We must not allow those responsible to change our attitudes towards the innocent people in our society who look different to us or who follow a different set of beliefs to our own. This is not the act of a particular race or religion; it is the evil outworking of darkened hearts.
It is wonderful to hear that emergency services in London are coping very well with the tragic events.
So far officials have only confirmed 2 deaths but reports are saying that at least 40 are dead. I think that may be just the beginning. A police press conference set down for the next half hour may reveal a more accurate figure.

Sadly, the report I just heard has confirmed at least 40 deaths and 300+ injured.
This is shocking to us. We know many people in the UK from our time living there and we are hoping that none of them are directly involved in this situation.
