It’s the day of the Australian Football League Grand Final. It’s the day that Aussie Rules fans dream about all year. The sixteen teams have become two and by the end of the day only one team will be left.
In several hours the mighty West Coast Eagles will take on the Sydney Swans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground before a worldwide audience of millions.
I plan to be smiling at the end of the day. I am quietly confident that the Eagles will bring home the premiership cup for the third time in the club’s history.
