Free Ride

On beautiful days like today my mind goes back to endless hours of cycling and to trips like my 2003 Bike for Bibles cycle trip from Perth to Hobart.

We cycled around 4300 km in just over 4 weeks, from one side of the country to the other, then through Tasmania.

There were around 50 of us altogether counting cyclists and support staff. The trip raised money for literacy projects in India. I’ll have to post some video of my India trips soon. In the mean time, click on the picture to watch 3 and a half minutes of my journey from Perth to Hobart.

  • Ahhhh good memories. It was an amazing and memorable experience. If anyone is even the slightest bit interested in cycling I would recommend that they give a Bike for Bibles ride a go.

  • Michelle, the pleasure was all mine. It was a true delight having you on the ride and I’m so glad that you said yes to my high pressure convincing. You were a great part of the team. (and you made it up Greenhill Road) 🙂
