“The greatest enemy to the movement of Jesus Christ is Christianity”
When one of the biggest things on the front page of your website is a quote like that, you’d better be prepared to back it up. I’m sure that Erwin Raphael McManus is more than able to expand on that theme. Thanks to Urban Onramps for pointing me to his new website.
I wrote last year about The Barbarian Way, a book by McManus, and said then that if the Christian faith isn’t calling people to radical transformation through dangerous acts of love then it’s just a moral code and that doesn’t wash for me. The challenge for me is not to just point the finger but to realise that I need to be living out that kind of faith.
Good to see that McManus has a new website up and running. It’s worth a look if you want a little bit more background on someone who is prepared to make such bold statements.
