Holiday time?

Did you head off to work today and leave someone at home on holiday? It’s tough isn’t it?

Emily and James are enjoying their school holidays at the moment. I won’t say that Pauline is on holiday because she’s busy with Emily and James. She enjoys the time she gets to spend with them but calling it a holiday for her may be a little wide of the mark.

I love my job and it’s great being able to do what I do but it can be a little hard leaving home in the morning when I know that the rest of the family will be enjoying time together. I suppose I’d better just make the most of the time I have before and after work for the next couple of weeks.

Do your holidays coincide with those of the other members of your family? When was the last time you got to take a break together?

Our next family holiday isn’t until May but I’m still looking forward to heading away for a week together when the time finally arrives.

  • I love taking time off when the rest of the family has off. Even if we do not do anything, just stay home.
