Meeting bloggers

I always enjoy catching up with other bloggers and today I got to meet a long term favourite blogger of mine, Luke Phillips from Melbourne. He’s is in Perth for a short time while his wife attends a conference.

Luke dropped in during the final half hour of my on-air shift at 98.5 Sonshine FM. He sat in the studio with me while I finished up and then I was able to give him a guided tour of the radio station.

After playing tour guide, we headed out for lunch. It was wonderful being able to talk face to face and find out that Luke really is as nice in person as he is on-line.

I only wish that we had been able to meet up on a day that I hadn’t woken up at 4:30 and worked two shifts while trying to battle a cold. Sorry Luke, maybe I’ll be better company next time we meet up.

  • I’m still smiling from my first encounter with a couple of blog friends. It’s a wonderful thing. Glad you got to meet Luke!

(off topic – my boss discovered Skype yesterday and asked if I knew anyone who had it so he could test it, I thought of you but wasn’t sure of the time difference)
