Home again

The sun has set on our holiday on Rottnest Island. We got home in the middle of the day yesterday after a wonderful, relaxing week away.

The picture is of the sunset on Sunday evening, our last night on Rotto. (Click the picture for a better view.)

There’s lots to tell about our time away and plenty of photos to share. It felt like we were away a lot longer than the 7 days we spent with family just 18 kilometres away from mainland Australia. I’m feeling more relaxed than I have for quite some time, and for someone as laid back as me, that’s saying something.

I head back to work on Monday so I’ve still got some days at home doing bits of this and that.

Thank you to everyone for your good wishes in the comments of my last post. We did indeed have a wonderful time.

  • Welcome home Rodney!
It’s great to hear that you’re feeling so relaxed. That’s what a holiday is all about (I’ve lost count of the times I’ve returned from holiday more worn out that I was before!). Looking forward to seeing more beautiful photos 🙂

  • Welcome home Rodney, glad you had a good break. I have never been to Rotto, but the photo looks very appetising. Have missed your blog over the last week.
