Ever have those times when you feel a little conflicted?
Every third Saturday I do a long radio shift from 6:00 a.m. to midday.
I love my job and really enjoy working at 98.5 Sonshine FM but I also love a Saturday morning bike ride through the Swan Valley, which is what I’d be doing if I wasn’t on-air.
I reckon that the guys I ride with would probably be enjoying a post ride coffee about now.
As long as I don’t think about it too much I’m OK. Mind you it doesn’t help when you have friends like Jim who just phoned me at the radio station in to say that he is currently cycling through the Swan Valley while he listens to 98.5 Sonshine FM. He rang to say how much he was enjoying the programme. Great to hear from him even if I am a little jealous. As he just reminded me, the cycling conditions in Perth are just perfect today.
