Thank you to everyone who has added comments to my previous post asking for your input on my blog. Please feel free to keep adding your point of view. I’ll ge3t the opportunity to have a good look at what everyone has said and reply to those comments when we get home to Perth.
As you can see by the fact that there’s a new post here, either hackers have managed to take over The Journey or we’re still alive and well. Hopefully for my sake it’s the latter.
We had a wonderful week in Melbourne staying with some lovely friends and doing all sorts of tourist type activities. Today we flew into Sydney and we’ll be staying with some other friends for the next week.
I’ll have to write detailed posts about a lot of the things we’ve been doing later but I can assure you we were kept very busy. We visited Werribee Open Range Zoo, caught up with my nephew and his girlfriend, went to Ballarat to look around Sovereign Hill, wandered all around the Queen Victoria Markets and did a bunch of other things too.
One of the absolute highlights for me was to catch up with a couple of fellow bloggers. I wasn’t sure who was able to make it on Thursday afternoon but I must say that I was more than thrilled when Thomas and Olivia of Williams World wandered into the Southgate Foodcourt with their children T.J., Maya and Heath. I always knew that we would get on very well if we ever got the chance to meet up and I certainly wasn’t dissapointed.
A little later Kitty of Peregrine Sojo arrived with her mum. I’ve been reading Kitty’s blog for some time now and we’ve occasionally chatted via MSN. It was so good to meet up in person.
I’ll post some pictures of out meet up when I can.
That’s about it for the moment but I will try to post a bit more this week. If you’re in Sydney I’ll love to catch up. I’ll be down at Darling Harbour this Thursday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. If you want to join us for a cuppa I’d love to see you. If you can’t make it until later, let me know and hopefully we can arrange something a little later. If you’re planning on coming down we’ll obviously need to define the meeting place a little better so leave me a comment and I’ll email you my mobile number.
