Why do you ride?

While this is a US campaign by peopleforbikes.org I still love the video.

If you’re in the US you make like to find out more about their campaign to promote cycling and to get noticed by the US government. If you’ve ever been captivated by the thrill of cycling you may like to just watch the video then add a few reasons that you love cycling in the comments of this post.

  • Why I ride changes, and has changed since I started. I ride to try to lose weight. I ride because I enjoy endorphins! I ride because I love the accomplishment of it, of pushing myself harder, quicker, longer. I ride to enjoy the scenery, and not have to be a passenger all the time. I love the technology and gadgetry that goes along with cycling.

    And, its fun!

  • Thanks for sharing Rodney. I’m not currently riding and haven’t for sometime due to medical reasons.

When I do ride it’s solely for the pleasure and enjoyment. I am hoping that if it cools down and after a doctor’s visit, I may be riding at the end of this month. I will then be riding to lose weight and get fit again.

  • I agree with Phil! 🙂
I started riding while in Primary school to get to school and back and sport and back and well, never stopped for to long. Always been off here and there then back again, it’s probably in the blood! LOL

    You?
