Hands Off My Ute!

What are you like at letting other people use things that belong to you? Are you happy to share your belongings or do you hold things a little tighter?

On the way to work I noticed a Holden Ute that not many men would be prepared to borrow. I reckon the owner has come up with a great way to dissuade others from borrowing the ute. It may not have been her intention but it sure would have that effect.

On the back of the ute were several stickers. One was a large set of red lips like the picture in this post. There was also a large sticker saying “Little Miss Vixen”. On the back window was a sticker saying “Dip me in Bundy and throw me to the cowboys.” I don’t think the owner’s boyfriend would be asking to use the ute unless there was absolutely no other option.

Do you have any clever ideas to hang on to the things you own or are you happy to share whatever’s yours?

  • I have to admit I had to look up what a Ute was. here is America one of the most famous is “Protected by Smith & Wesson.” I do not have a gun so can’t put that. “My dog is bigger than your hand.” I don’t have a dog. I also don’t put stickers on my car. reckon if they want to take it there isn’t much I can do about it.

  • I share 🙂 But I also have to clench my teeth if Spouse is driving my car and at 65km/h is still in third gear!
Actually no idea about Australia, but in Germany it´s not easy to own a gun (thankfully).
Camera and other “serious” stuff goes to Spouse, too – but that´s it.
