I guess that’s one way of crashing your website.
1-day is an Australian website that offers three great deals each day. I think that offering a 30GB iPod for $175 was just too much for the servers to handle. The site’s been down since the daily email went out to announce today’s specials.
At the moment there’s a message at the site saying “Sorry 1-Day is Currently under Maintenance. Please be patient. The site will be online again shortly.”
I certainly hope that when they do get back online they’ve got a lot of stock of those iPods. They’re going to need them.
I’d love to grab one for myself to replace my 4GB iPod Mini but I just can’t justify spending that amount, even though it’s such an incredibly good deal.
Once their site starts working again you might like to subscribe to their daily email so that you don’t miss out on the good stuff.
