Missing in Action

Yes I know – I’ve been missing in action for a while. Apologies.

I have a fault on my telephone line at home (which Telstra says is absolutely fine) and it is preventing me from maintaining an internet connection for more than a few minutes.

I’m told that even thought their testing shows that the line is OK, they will send someone around within a couple of days. When they do I will ask them to pick up the phone and try to hear anyone talking to them above the extremely loud crackling.

This short explanation is being blogged from work. Obviously I don’t want to make a habit of blogging at work so I hope to get things back to normal very soon.

In the meantime, feel free to use the comments area to create your own content for the-journey.

  • I have just one comment to contribute: “TELSTRA, GET YOUR BUTT IN GEAR AND GET THIS GUY BACK ONLINE IMMEDIATELY!!!!” 🙂

  • Hey thanks Michelle – I think they heard you.

The guy came around today and found a cut wire 100 metres up the road.

He replaced the cable from there down to our house and into our roof.

I can finally hold an internet connection.
