It's Wet

I’m a little soggy at the moment.

Today is the first day that I’ve cycled through pelting rain for several months. It’s not so bad once you remember how badly your brakes work in the wet. You just have to anticipate a little more and start stopping a little sooner.

We really need the rain so I won’t complain.

The only thing is that they say that more is coming this afternoon and I need to be on the bike again very soon to head over to Sonshine Fm.

The radio station is having its fund raising golf day today (great golf weather) and so I’m helping out by doing the afternoon shift on-air. (It’s been a while but I should remember which buttons to push.) That’ll free up ‘JD’ to get very soggy playing golf all day.

  • Riding in the rain isn’t much fun, but here in Seattle we wouldn’t get very much riding if we didn’t do it in the rain. Tomorrow morning the forecast is showers for my morning commute, but the rest of the week looks sunny. Woohaaa!
