Leading a Double Life

Have you ever watched those TV shows where people live double lives? They have two sets of families and they manage to keep them and the different sets of friends apart.

I know that kind of thing does happen but I reckon it’d be so hard to keep it up and remember who knows who and who knows about who.

Yesterday at the show we met up with so many people we knew.

We met Pauline’s brother and his kids. We met a family that we had had dinner with the night before. We met another family from our church. We met my niece and my brother’s in-laws. I spotted another family I knew from Margaret River but I didn’t get a chance to say hello.

I reckon you’d have to live under a rock to keep two lives separate. As soon as I step out the door I start seeing people I know.

I think that not only is honesty the best policy – it’s also a whole lot less work.
