What's with the blue lights?

On my way home last night I noticed one of those cars with the glowing blue fluorescent lights strapped underneath. I still can’t quite work out why you’d want to do that. Why would you spend good money on giving the bitumen underneath your car a bluish tinge?

It seems to be young guys with hotted up cars that get into the idea. You know the sort of cars that sound as if they’re gasping for breath every time they change gear.

The only real use I can think of for strapping lights under your vehicle is that it would make it easier for the police to inspect every part of your car after they’ve caught you for speeding.

  • I have also heard loud, thumping music (and I use that word loosely) eminating from these cars. Maybe they are mobile blue light discos? Ha ha ha ha . . . . . . . ha
