A wonderful day

I got the best of both worlds today. I heard a little bit of rain overnight. That’s always good in a place as dry as Perth. It’s wonderful for the garden to get a good soaking without us having to get the sprinkler out.

By the time I got up the rain had cleared leaving everything fresh and slightly damp. I was able to cycle to work without getting wet.

Don’t you just love it when it’s been raining and everything looks new again?

The garden got a drink. I had a marvellous ride. All is well with the world.

  • I couldn’t agree more. After going out for an early morning ride this morning I got to thinking that if I had the ability to choose the weather this is what I would choose every day. A bit of rain overnight to replenish the earth and make everything feel fresh and new again, then a fine clear day to follow. And did you see the blood red sun this morning? Absolutely magnificent!
