Before laptops

Before laptops became popular, people had very few options in taking their work with them as they travelled.

Here is a picture I took in Shimla, India, in the Himalayas.

It seems that one option open to those wishing to take their work home or to a meeting, was to take their entire filing cabinet with them. It might sound cumbersome but it seemed to work for this guy.

  • What a classic. India really must be just so totally different to Australia. Thankyou for giving us just a little taste of what it was like.

  • This guy at shimla is carrying cabinet to delivery it to somebody’s house from a Cabinet store. It is not filled with files which you said people take their work at home in file cabinet like this.

Don’t make false statement without knowing the facts.
