My left shoe

A Norwegian thief who stole 25 shoes must have been more than a little disappointed when they realised that they were all shoes for left feet.

It seems the robber threw them all away in disgust. They broke into a car in the Norwegian city of Bergen and found a case full of women’s shoes. It probably took them only a short while to realise that there wasn’t a single pair among them.

The shoes were samples which belonged to a salesman. He was travelling with only one shoe of each type.

Of course if they were mens shoes I might have been interested in a pair or two. Anyone who has ever seen me trying to dance would agree that I have two left feet.
