Getting away

We’ve been in the south west of the state for the past couple of days.

A good friend of ours in Greenbushes celebrated his 40th birthday on Saturday so we drove down for a wonderful afternoon tea. We haven’t seen each other for some time so it was good to catch up.

We then spent Saturday and Sunday night in Bunbury. We checked out some of the local sites and spent time relaxing.

It was a wonderful mini holiday. It’s whetted my appetite for a longer family holiday. Now I’ll just have to come up with the time and the dollars.

  • My family (mum, dad, brother, sister & myself) are heading off on our first family holiday in around 14 years this coming tuesday…Fiji for 2 weeks. We’re all slightly excited.

My boss asked me this morning to not think about the holiday until friday afternoon when I leave work to pick my family up from the airport…he’s worried that I’ll be too distracted…

    Too late for that 🙂
